This “Misc Topics” section includes a la carte tutorials, recordings, and other materials from which you can chose for the final section of the class. The idea is to chose the one that either most interests you or seems most relevant to your course project or other work.

Earth Engine & geemap |
• Getting access to Google Earth Engine (via a Google Account). • Use GEE’s native JavaScript interface for running Earth Engine analyses. • Use Google Colaboratory for writing, running, and managing Jupyter notebooks. • Install packages in Google Colab notebooks. • Authenticate and initialize the Geemap package. • Run GEE commands in Python using Geemap and other Python packages. |
